Sunway Medical Centre bags The CHT Pursuit of Excellence National Award 2020 under the Healthcare category!

The CHT International Awards, a biennial event organised by CHT Network, held its 8th edition on 15th February 2020 at JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The prestigious awards ceremony themed fire and ice hosted 400 local and global leaders from various sectors including education, healthcare, government, hospitality, creative, manufacturing, and property. The CHT International Awards recognises and honours outstanding individuals and organisations that have excelled in their respective industries, as well as contributing to the societies within 2 categories: international and national.
The awards ceremony was officiated by the Secretary General of Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Dato’ Lokman Hakim Ali. Representing Sunway Medical Centre and gracing the red carpet gala evening were Medical Director-Dr Seow Vei Ken, Chief Executive Officer, Aesthetics, Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine - Ms Woon Ming Ming and Director of Business Development, Branding & Communication - Dr Michelle Mah.
“It was a very meaningful evening for me to receive this award on behalf of Sunway Medical Centre”, said Dr Seow Vei Ken, Medical Director. The award is the CHT Pursuit of Excellence National Award 2020, under the Healthcare category.
Sunway Medical Centre has been recognised regionally for its world-class health care facilities, as well as its comprehensive medical treatment and procedures. Besides consistently maintaining high standards in delivering patient-centred care, Sunway Medical Centre also demonstrated outstanding performances by taking the lead in initiatives that improve the way healthcare is delivered.
This award marks another milestone towards becoming a leading private medical centre in the ASEAN region, a vision Sunway Medical Centre has continually strived towards by consistently setting a new benchmark for other private healthcare providers in the region.
