Gynaecological oncology is dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of every type and stage of cancer of the female women’s reproductive organs. The diseases treated under this speciality include Ovarian cancer, Cervical cancer, Uterine (endometrial) cancer, Vulvar cancer, Vaginal cancer, Fallopian tube cancer, Gynecologic sarcomas

Besides treatment, the gynecological oncologist also conducts ovarian and endometrial screening for high-risk patients and care for patients with HPV (human papillomavirus) infections.
